THE SCHOOL QUESTION
A COURSE FOR FAMILIES NAVIGATING SCHOOL FIT,
NEURODIVERSITY, AND SUSTAINABLE EDUCATIONAL PATHS.
There often comes a point when families begin asking a difficult but important question: Is school actually working for my child?
Not because of one bad day — but because, over time, something feels misaligned.
The School Question was created to support families in making sense of those moments with clarity rather than urgency, and understanding rather than pressure.
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
This course may be helpful if you are a caregiver who is:
Questioning whether your child’s school environment is a good fit
Navigating ongoing stress, dysregulation, or school-related burnout
Trying to advocate effectively without escalating conflict
Considering changes while feeling unsure how to think through options
Wanting language, frameworks, and perspective — not quick answers
The course was designed with the highly sensitive nervous systems that many PDA autistic children and teens navigate the world with in mind.
PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) refers to a nervous-system profile where everyday expectations can feel overwhelming, making traditional school environments especially hard to sustain.
At the same time, many families who are questioning school fit — even without a PDA or autism profile — find themselves facing very similar challenges and benefiting from the same clarity, language, and advocacy tools offered in this course.
THE SCHOOL QUESTION PROVIDES
Big-picture frameworks for understanding school fit beyond academics
Insight into how nervous systems interact with learning environments
Language to support thoughtful, grounded advocacy with schools
Practical tools and resources to help families assess next steps
A structured way to think — without rushing decisions
The content moves from conceptual clarity to concrete, actionable strategies, supporting families wherever they are in the process.
WHAT THIS COURSE IS NOT
Not a prescription for a single educational path
Not a push toward unschooling or staying in school
Not crisis-driven or fear-based
Not a judgment of past choices
This course is meant to support thoughtful decision-making over time.
